Racemarc was founded by Ralph Malec in 2009. Ralph has spent the last 40 years of his life building and racing stock cars on the short tracks of the upper Mid-West. Much of that time was spent working with his sons RJ and Ron who went from competing in go-karts to super late models. Youngest son Ron has since moved into NASCAR where he is currently employed by Hendrick Motorsports as the Car Chief on the #48 Lowe's car. Ralph has continued to build and own cars that compete in the Mid-American and ASA LateModel Series. Ralph Malec, who specializes in chassis set-up, chose German spring maker Vogtland as Racemarc's first product line. Vogtland is one of the worlds premier racing spring manufacturers. Racemarc offers quality, lightweight, high travel racing springs made by Vogtland at warehouse prices. Racemarc offers complete rebuilding and revalving services for shock absorbers as well as dyno testing. Racemarc is now an authorized dealer for AFCO, JRI and QA1 racing shocks. For your brake system, Racemarc offers Colbalt Friction racing disc brake pads. Cobalt Friction is a leading supplier of brake pads for international road racing. When Cobalt decided to bring their proven friction technology to the oval tracks, Racemarc decided to add Cobalt to their lineup. In 2011, Racemarc customers using Cobalt pads won six track championships in Illinois and Wisconsin. Racemarc sells the same Colbalt Friction brake pads at very competative prices.
